Signal detects common DNS providers from authoritative nameservers. Automatic setup is available for supported providers; other detected providers remain manual. Provider detection is guidance, so verify that you are editing the account that actually hosts authoritative DNS.Operational checks
- Recheck domains after nameserver moves.
- Alert on a verified domain becoming degraded or failed.
- Keep mail-related CNAME records unproxied.
- Remove old sending infrastructure from SPF and DMARC reports deliberately.
- Inspect DMARC sources before tightening policy.
