The region and project status are read-only. Region is fixed at project creation.

Rename safely

Changing the name does not move customer data or credentials. Changing the slug can invalidate saved dashboard URLs and operational runbook links. Update those references after saving.

Delete project

Deletion immediately stops project activity and cancels pending emails, webhook deliveries, and imports. Signal then creates a verified archive before permanently removing the project’s API keys, domains, files, cloud resources, and Signal data. For 90 days, you can request restoration from that archive into a new project in the organization. After 90 days the archive expires and recovery is no longer available.
Project deletion is intentionally broad. Use a narrower action when you only need to revoke a key, stop a sender, disable an endpoint, or remove one domain.

Pre-deletion checklist

  1. Stop API and SMTP callers.
  2. Cancel or account for scheduled emails.
  3. Review active webhook deliveries and import jobs.
  4. Export suppression and customer data required by policy.
  5. Record API key, domain, and integration replacements.
  6. Confirm the correct project is selected.
  7. Record the deletion timestamp and 90-day recovery deadline.

Recovery request

A restore creates a new project from the archived export; do not assume deleted credentials or endpoints become active automatically. Plan to issue new secrets and revalidate infrastructure during recovery.
